Flora - Trees and shrubs - Pine (Pinus uncinata)

It is among the pines, which can live to a higher altitude, occupying the mountain forest above the mountain and reaching up to 2700m exceptionally high, which occupies the upper limit of arboreal vegetation. Usually appears as a squat and winding tree crown conical, usually very high, up to 20 m with a trunk and branches that reach almost to touch the ground. The leaves are very dark green, small and are between 4 and 8 cm long. The cones are small, between 4 and 7 cm, clearly asymmetrical, with gusset on the side that touches the usually prominent, hook-shaped.
