Mushrooms - Poisonous - Mushroom of Olius (Omphalotus olearius)

It is a fungus or parasite often sapròfit, who lives in the trunks or roots of various trees and shrubs planifolia. It is common in the lowlands where it appears in autumn, often forming fleets. It is characterized by the color of the cuticle, which is dry and smooth and satiny yellow orange to dark reddish brown. It is toxic and causes serious poisoning, manifested by vomiting, nausea, dizziness and abdominal pain. It has come to be confused with the nightingale (Cantharellus cibarius), although most often should be confused with the false Mockingbird (Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca).
